Wood and wrought iron furniture, green brushstrokes in textiles and woodwork, exposed rafters in the ceiling, welcoming environments ... So this house is a building that is in 1890 Osterlen, region in Skåne, the southernmost province of Sweden. When the current owners decided to post here their vacation home had to face a comprehensive reform to organize the meters available, with a distribution that suited the needs of the family, change floors and walls and, of course, renovate facilities plumbing, electricity and heating. Now boast of a house decorated with exquisite taste cottage , evoking rustic settings, but cozy and elegant.
To win light and space, the ground floor of the house was left almost diaphanous: living room and kitchen share the same space. The white color that dominates the decor, combined with green and red brushstrokes. The dining room was situated in front of the glass doors overlooking the cornfields.
The kitchen, very sencillita occupies a united front: wood worktop modules open houses painted green wood, dishwasher, sink and a ceramic oven plate. This solution (open modules and shelves) is ideal in cases in which it seeks to lighten the decor. The refrigerator, a retro two-door model in red color puts counterpoint. The view is that you got an open kitchen to the living room where nothing out of tune.
With gable roof, a pair of circular windows in the wall of the head and a huge bed in black steel finish, the master bedroom has a special charm. seems out of a movie! Although white was kept as a base color, the decoration was played with red hues.
The loft was reserved for locating a comfortable area for reading and relaxing, with a mattress and several pillows. Who does not disconnect in a place like this?
